Security and privacy

Server location
The web app and all checks run at netcup GmbH (Karlsruhe) in the Nuremberg data centre, the website at the German provider ALL-INKL.COM. No data is transferred to countries outside the EU.
Data minimisation
Your check results and check history stay in your browser or on your device. On the server we only store what is needed for check numbers, quota and monitoring, not the content of your reports.
Data processing agreement
A template data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is available on request at info@valifex.de.
Authenticity check
Every check report receives a check number. Under Verify a report any recipient can see whether a PDF is genuine and unchanged; the file is not uploaded.
Grey instead of green
If a source cannot be reached at the time of the check, Valifex shows grey, not green. A point that could not be checked is not treated as unremarkable.
No cookies
The website and web app use no cookies and no tracking.
